Double stars on all levels! I have 24 triple stars on the seven levels, divided as follows: 4-3-6-3-1-3-4. For now I’m going to regard mission mode as complete, I know triple stars is going to be hard and I may try sometime, but for now I want to do something else. I’ve only unlocked two staff ghosts in time trial so I think that will be the next challenge.
I was a little surprised, considering how hard I found level 3’s whack a mole mission, to get triple stars on my second attempt - it turned out that I found the Goomboss mission round Baby Park to be more difficult, but I got triple stars on that as well. Currently I have DoubleStar - DoubleStar - DoubleStar - DoubleStar - DoubleStar - Star - Star. Four single stars on level 6 and seven on level 7.
I’ve finally got all stars on Level 7 so I now have DoubleStar - DoubleStar - Star - DoubleStar - DoubleStar - Star - Star. Out of 63 missions I have 15 triple stars, 34 double stars and 14 single stars hopefully it won’t take too long to convert those single stars into something better.
I’ve decided that I’m going to deem missions to have been completed if I get double stars on levels 1 to 7- I know there are triple stars, but the idea makes my head hurt - currently I have DoubleStar-DoubleStar-Star-Star-Star-Star-B.

Further progress in between a couple of games of Monkey Ball, I’ve now got Star-Star-B-Star-Star-B, I’m still stuck on the whack a mole mission and I have loads to do on level 6 since I rushed though it last time, thinking that I just had to complete the challenges to complete the missions - now I know better.
So far I’ve got Star-Star-B-A-C-C, on level 3 I’m stuck on the whack a mole mission (which seems to be impossible) and on level 4 I’m stuck on the boss (although I’m convinced it won’t take much more effort).
I’ve got gold on all the Retro cups in mirror class unlocking all karts for all characters. I had a look at gamefaqs and it turns out I need to get stars on all missions to unlock another mission level so that is my next task and then it is completed.
I’ve got gold on all the Nitro cups in mirror class and have unlocked R.O.B., only real difficulty was Rainbow Road which is how it should be. Writing of which why didn’t the retro cups end with SNES Rainbow Road that would have been ACE.
Finally completed all the missions - overall rank is C on each of the six sets. I got to see the credits agin, is that it? I was hoping something extra might appear like an extra battle stage or maybe unlocking Shy Guy for my use.
