Wii finally in its home
Sunday, December 31st, 2006I finally got round to removing the trusty Gamecube (a sad moment) and putting the Wii in its place, unfortunately I don’t have an RGB cable yet. I’ll get an RGB cable eventually, although I’m a little disturbed about reviews saying it doesn’t carry the autoswitching signals - so it might not play nicely with the switch box
. I’ve spent 3000 points on Virtual Console games - Toejam and Earl, Donkey Kong Country, Ecco the Dolphin and Bomberman’93. So far all of the playing has been with the kids in Wii Sports (mainly bowling and snooker), Wii Play (a bit of everything at the moment) and DK Country (once I realised the Gamecube ports are in the “wrong” order).
Since the Wii is replacing the Gamecube I have placed it in its horizontal position, which looks a bit better with three wavebird receivers and two memory cards sticking out of it - to be honest I don’t really buy into this stand everything on its side fashion.
