For any management out there, this is obviously not true. I have never had a sword fight while waiting for code to compile.

Bizarrely, at the place I last worked, we had “PurePwnage” style “micro fights”, with actual keyboards and everything. Didn’t have the excuse of compiling, though, so “Running a vacuum on the database” was a popular excuse.
