Church Council
My first ever church council tonight and it wasn’t too bad, obviously all meetings have their bad moments (like everyone trying to talk at once), but unlike work meetings I was not bored. Nothing really contentious next council should be 22nd Feb 2007.

a) That’s hardly trying. We seem to have Church Council meetings once a quarter.
b) Most of our meetings are a little samey. The treasurer’s report is always the ultimate yawnathon. This week’s council included discussion on church closures (not of Fulwood, I hasten to add) and whether there might be a need for the circuit to take an interest in the east of Preston. The circuit is having a policy review which could actually be quite radical.
